MC3: Creative Space are offering our first ever Artist Residency for art students and people wanting to follow a creative career path. The Summer is coming up and as artists the break can often put a pause on our creative flow. Because of this we are opening our doors for 4 art students to come and work with us in Elgin's first artist studios.
The chosen artists will have the opportunity to work with professional artists at different stages of their careers, have workshops dealing with social media, establishing yourself and other important information on life during and after Art School. Not only that but we are also offering a group exhibition for the chosen artists either in the Hall Gallery or at another venue, all for a discounted price!!
The chosen four artists will work together to create a body of work for exhibit either on site at The Hall Gallery or at another venue. The body of work can be up to the chosen artists, either a collaboration, individual study or the continuation of current projects.
You have free rein! MC3 is here to help and provide you with the tools necessary for your artistic journey.
The residency will include access to a studio for 4 months, open 24 hour, 7 days a week, on site help and training of techniques, marketing and social media, all at a 50% discounted price of £70 a month. All artists will have access to free WiFi, kitchen facilities, social area and a wealth of knowledge from our current residents.
MC3: Creative Space's Residency is open to current art students, recent art school graduates, students leaving secondary school and anyone interested in following an artistic career.
